You could have cut the tension with a knife on tonight’s Dancing on Ice results show as all the remaining celebrity skaters have been champions throughout the years, so not one of them wanted to leave tonight.

As we saw in each of their VT’s this evening, each skater was worried about becoming the first champion to be dropped from the series, but someone had to go…

This evening saw the return of the team skaters, which saw the boys take on the girls. The winners of the team skating challenge would have their scores doubled on the leaderboard, potentially giving them less chance from being given the boot this evening. The lads won the challenge and so they all had their points doubled. Ray ended up at the top of the leaderboard with 80 points, but Olympian Beth Tweddle was trailing behind at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Sam Attwater has already faced the skate off three times in a row so he certainly didn’t want it to be him, and he needn’t have worried as he was the first celebrity to go through to next week.

It was then revealed that Kyran Bracken and Suzanne Smith had to skate again in the bottom two this evening. Despite ending up in third place (from the bottom) on the leaderboard, Kyran ended up in the bottom this. This was also the first EVER time that Suzanne had ended up in the bottom two, throughout the two series’ that she’s appeared on.

Kyran said that you just have to relax during the skate-off and enjoy it as it may be the last time you’re on the ice in the competition.

Bracken and his partner Nina were first up on the ice, skating to Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean. However, he had a slight mishap during the first couple of seconds of his performance as he almost dropped his partner.

Suzanne and Matt were the second second pair up to take to the ice, and Suzanne looked like she was really enjoying herself on the ice, despite it possibly being the last time she may skate on the show. There were a few mistakes, which may have been costly…
