Well folks, it’s that’s time of the week again! And for once I’m not entirely sure where this post is going…
I think we’ve gotten to a little bit of an awkward stage in the competition, where the good skaters are very good, and the ones that weren’t so good, are starting to improve and catch up with them, this means that unfortunately the weaker skaters are exposed, and for me Rosemary Conley sticks out like a sore thumb. And whilst I applaud her spirit and mentality for even giving the lifts a go, I do think it might be the right time for her to leave. I think she was very over marked this evening, but then the scoring did seem to be a little bit all over the place.

Jorgie Porter tried to channel a bit of Britney Spears into her Dancing On Ice routine this evening.
However, while thinking all the time about staying character for pop week, the Hollyoaks star also had to concentrate on the infinitely more intricate routine that Torvill and Dean had choreographed for her for the pop themed episode.

Rosemary Conley was asked to bring her fun side out for tonight’s Dancing On Ice show.
The fitness guru was told that she had to be flirty with her professional partner Mark Hanretty, and as if that wasn’t hard enough, she was given a difficult spin lift which almost made her puke!

Chico Slimani struggled to maintain the fluidity of his routine before taking to the rink on tonight’s dancing On Ice.
The former X Factor star really put his all into rehearsals before the live show, determined to get it right and impress judge Louie Spence this evening. Thankfully for him it was all alright on the night.

Matthew Wolfenden had a bit of a tough week on Dancing on Ice before tonight’s show, as he missed two days of rehearsals due to a back injury.
The Emmerdale star had to sit out a few practice sessions over the past seven days and even when he did get back on the rink, he had to miss out some of the big lifts for a couple of more days, until his back had healed sufficiently.

Chemmy Alcott was elated this weekn, when Torvill and Dean gave her a routine to Kylie Minogue’s ‘Locomotion’ on this week’s live show.
However she was less impressed with the news that she would once again be attempting some big lifts, despite Katarina Witt’s earlier pleas that she avoid being off the ice, because she is ‘too big.’

Andy Whyment certainly brings the fun to Dancing On Ice and this evening we couldn’t help but laugh at some of his antics in rehearsals.
He is always so light hearted and enjoyed a lot of jokes with coaches Torville and Dean, as well as some giggles with his professional partner Vicky Ogden but this week, he also tried to knuckle down and improve on his basic skating skills, with special emphasis on his lifts.

Heidi Range took on a demanding routine on tonight’s Dancing On Ice live show.
The Sugababes singer was so excited about performing to Jessie J’s Price Tag for the pop themed episode, however when she was told she would have to do a whole section alone, without the support of her professional partner Andrei, the singer went into meltdown.

Sebastian Foucan admitted this evening that he is desperate to get to Jorgie Porter and Matthew Wolfenden’s level of skating on Dancing On Ice, however he did struggle with the jumps in his new routine.
For pop week the freerunning star was performing to ‘Fire With Fire’ and he modeled quite an impressive mohican for the night.

Charlene Tilton has named herself as ‘Susie Skateoff’ on this week’s Dancing On Ice, because she has been in the bottom two twice during the series so far.
The former Dallas actress was hoping to improve the judges’ opinion of herself and the amount of viewers voting for her, with a routine to pop singer of the moment Lady Gaga’s hit song ‘Poker Face,’
