After six months of gruelling training, spending close to 600 hours on the ice, and having been whittled down from twelve, the three remaining celebrities battled it out in the final of Dancing on Ice.
The three finalists first had to do a dance involving a flying element, and then each had to perform their favourite performance from all their dances so far.
Tonight everything was about the PUBLIC vote. While the judges gave marks, tonight these didn’t count, and the public vote only determined who won.
While Zaraah narrowly avoided a wardrobe malfunction, Suzanne received the first ever double clean sweep of 6’s by the judges dancing to Time to Say Goodbye and both Music by Madonna. Her performance left her, Jayne Torvill, Holly Willoughby, Karen Barber and her son Corey in the audience in floods of tears!
The celebs did two performances each and then there was a public vote. Zaraah Abrahams was the first celebrity to be knocked out.
Zaraah said: “We’ve had the best time. I can’t even explain how amazing tonight has been. Thank you to everyone for being so amazing.”
Chris and Frankie and Suzanne and Matt skated the bolero for the title.
Chris skated first and the judges said:
Robin Cousins: You connected beautifully but what I missed from you is the fun, it was too intense – I love it when you are just you.”
Jason Gardiner: “I disagree with you Robin, the bolero is supposed to have that intensity and Chris I have to say something here; finally you connected with Frankie!”
Suzanne danced second and the judges said:
Suzanne said: “I have had the most amazing time and I am going to miss dancing with you Matt every day and to dance the Bolero was an honour.”
Nicky: “Suzanne all night you have been on fire. It has been wonderful. You can do everything and it’s the way you present, your partnership is extraordinary. You are my winner tonight.”
After the dances they said:
Chris: “No matter what the result I have to thank everyone I have had such a great time.”
Suzanne said: “I have loved every single second of this show. I want to thank Torvill and Dean and everyone on and off the ice.”
Chris said: “I don’t mind. I’ve got to the final. I want to thank my mum and everyone. I want to thank my coach and everyone.”

I thought she gave a brilliant performance on all 3 dances, she could have a change of career if she wanted one as I think she skated as well as Frankie. She really deserved to win and did you see her little boys face it was magic.
