Zoe Salmon Leaves Dancing On Ice But Coleen Nolan Stays!!!!
Zoe Salmon has been voted off dancing On Ice and in my opinion she was robbed.
Zoe is going home whilst Coleen Nolan remains, it hardly seems fair does it?
Salmon started off in the series way behind her main female competition, Jessica Taylor, but by this week was almost Jessica’s equal on the ice. Zoe can jump and skate alone, two things which Coleen Nolan still won’t be able to do when this competition is over.
I understand that shows of this nature are entertainment based and so people will very often vote on personality rather that skill, but at this late quarter final stage it just doesn’t seem fair on anyone involved.

Why on earth is Coleen Nolan still on Dancing on Ice. Is no one sick of her? why should popularity trump talent? Please get her off before anyone else with talent gets chucked off.

This competition is now a joke and will continue to be as long as Coleen Nolan is still init. the reality is she should have gone the week before oe after Todd Carty. She cannot skate alone, she has to be carried and towed everywhere by her partner. There is minimal and I really mean miminal improvement each week.
The voting should change to vote for the person you want to leave rather than the one to stay, that dissipates the stupid votes to keep people like Coleen on the show.
Once again we see injustice on a reality TV competition. John Sergeant in Strictly comes to mind. It’s obvious to anyone that Colleen feels embarassed to see very good skaters knocked out whilst she is dragged around the rink by her partner. Lovely lady but a skater?……..
Can someone please tell me what show Ruthie Henshaw watches! She obviously see’s something we don’t! So she loves Zoe, but come on Ruthie, she is no comparrison to Jessica. All said, there is only one winner the rest are following in his trail of brilliance……..Come on Ray!

I agree with the comments by Kev about Coleen. Coleen did skate better this week but she is nowhere as good as the others. If she doesn’t get voted off in the semi-final then the whole voting system will seem very farcical. I really thought Coleen would be out this week. Can’t her fans see that she has not got the flair of the others?
I noticed that some of the judges made hints about Coleen. Pity the fans didn’t take the hint.
Blade runner you are wrong because if it was like that people would just vote for someone else and not Coleen. For some reason a large amount of the public still enjoy watching the fat sardine being tugged around the ice. I feel sorry for her partner having to life all that weight!
What are the British public thinking about. Coleen Nolan should have been voted off weeks ago. Personality does not make a skater. Others have been robbed.

People are people and they want to see the underdog falling on their ****. That’s just the way it is ….. Folk want a laugh (on someone else’s behalf) …
zoe didnt desrve to go, she is so much better than coleen and improves loads each week. based on the talent,ray or jessica to win. after all this competiton is all about how well you can skate.
Why don’t the judges score as they do at the moment, but have the lowest scoring two pairs in a dance-off, after which the judges will select their one to stay and then let the public have their vote. This way it would eliminate the favourite personality being voted for rather than the best skater!
If the show is about ‘popularity’ rather than ice-skating, what’s the point in any of then learning to skate at all…. they may as well stand in a line and be judged on who has the best ‘vote for me’ plea!!!

I would feel so embarrassed if I could see EVERYONE else skate MUCH MUCH better than me and being voted off. And it is also the reputaion of the show at stake here. Even the judges said she should go.

I think Coleen should have gone but I do not think she should quit that would be disrespectful to people who had spent money voting for her and then the public/media would use that as a excuse to turn against her like they did John Sargeant when he quit. Also what is the surprise every year a underdog keeps getting through after they should have gone.
I also think Zoe is better than Jessica as she gives a much better performance and more enjoyable to watch. Jessica can skate but her routine is dull and lacks anything from her. I would have expected a lot better from Jessica as she had already done a reality skating programme for the BBC so had some skating experience already unlike the others.
My mother is a huge fan of DOA. She’s watched faithfully since the first episode and loved every minute. We’ve been watching this 4th series together, thinking that while Ray looked a dead cert to win, the real competition was between Jess and Zoe for runner-up.
I warned my mother last night before the skate-off that Coleen would be safe and that the fight would be between Jess and Zoe, but she didn’t believe it. The difference in the quality of the skating between Jess/Zoe and Coleen is so immense, she couldn’t believe the fans could or would be so unfair as to ignore it.
She was dreadfully upset when things played out exactly as I predicted and isn’t sure she wants to even watch the show any more as that outcome was a mockery. The way things look now, with the public able to vote right up until the final pair are selected, the final is going to be between Ray and Coleen!!!
The judge’s votes need to have more weighting than public popularity: 70%/30%, maybe, not fifty/fifty.

I also say Colleen should now win the first place prize and I think the whole watching public should vote her in. Now we have lost some of the best skaters over the past 3 weeks, the whale is still floundering around without a clue of how to look anything like graceful. It has become a total humiliation for her to be kept in the show. When she goes into a lift it looks a sack of potatoes being dragged around, when she tries to skate it is painful to watch. The rules have got to be changed. Let her win and then maybe the directors of the program will adopt Clairs brilliant sugestion of how it should be judged, they must know it is now a farce that can’t be allowed to continue.
Dancing on Ice is a Competition. I thought that in a competition the “best man/woman/team etc won” I really can’t see that Coleen is the “best” skater. I admit I haven’t watched all of the programmes but the ones I have seen she hasn’t impressed me at all. She seems so wooden. Her routines lack energy.

Yes I agree, Zoe Salmon should be let take her rightful place in the Semi-Finals and sad as it may be that Coleen Nolan is injured – but her being injured means we may at long last get to see a competition of justified Semi-finalists.
Bring back Zoe and let the competition begin.
i will not watch dancing on ice again get colleen off the show. i wont phone in again and jason is right about her, at least he is honest, she all ready gets paid enough for doing nothing, all she is good at is laughing at her own jokes , which are not funny, she will do anything for publicity, i cringe when i see her

I cannot even believe it is Coleen’s so-called “personality” that is getting her through. Unless a different side to her comes across in “loose women”. In Dancing on Ice she is just a crotchety middle-aged wingebag. Not a hint of shame or guilt for the people who can actually skate and who have been voted off. At least Todd Carty and John Sargeant could laugh at their own failings.
who cares who wins its just a fun show coleen is winning on personality but no wonder rays head is a bit too big he nearly cried when jason gave him a negative comment, he should have been on last years show put contestants similar in talent to each other and make it fair coleen is trying looks like she enjoys it all the time even though she is scared stiff did not watch strictly but john should never have left if the public vote for these people its the judges to blame they should say they are brilliant and no one would vote for the underdog

coleens terrible, she should’ve definately been booted off last week, if not at the start, every week moan, moan, moan and then tries to ‘win us over with her “personality”‘, please!! lets see what happens this week, they have to skate solo, that’ll be a first for Coleen, although maybe they’ll let her off like last week with the ‘unassisted’ jump, she should’ve been disqualified for that alone! (ok I’m going my moan over!lol)
my 6 yr old niece can skate better than Coleen… Strapped up or not why is she still in this so called competition?,what have I missed that the public are still voting for her? Bit like her singing career her skating is a wee bit flat.
