Zoe Salmon has admitted that she would have preferred Suzanne Shaw as a judge on Dancing On Ice, to Emma Bunton.

Zoe competed in the last series of the show and suggested that ITV bosses should have followed Strictly Come Dancing’s lead and promoted a former winner to the panel.

Salmon is quoted by the Daily Express as saying: “It’s really interesting because Emma Bunton did Strictly Come Dancing and now she’s ended up as a Dancing On Ice judge.

“I’d like to have seen someone like Suzanne Shaw on the panel because she’s won it. She’d have been very similar to Alesha [Dixon] on Strictly. When I watch Strictly Come Dancing I really respect Alesha as a judge because she has been there.”

She added: “Emma is so nice. I think she’ll be really like Ruthie, because Ruthie was really nice.”
