Rebecca Walker leaves Geordie Shore! Are you sad?
Rebecca Walker has confirmed that she will not be appearing in the next series of Geordie Shore.
The brunette beauty joined the cast of the MTV reality TV show last year but just days after Jay Gardner revealed that he would not be back, she has admitted that she will not be back when the next run is filmed this summer.
The cast of the show are currently appearing in ‘Chaos In Cancun’, but when these episodes end, Rebecca will no longer be joining Vicky, Ricci, Charlotte and Holly on screen.
She revealed: “After a whirlwind year I would like to announce my departure from Geordie Shore.
“I have had a fantastic time, Cancun was crazy and I’ve made some friends for life. I’m leaving the show as the same girl I went in as and have no regrets.”
The crazy northern lass added:
“The madness isn’t over yet and you can continue to watch what I got up to in Cancun over the next few weeks on Geordie Shore. I am glad to be going out on a high, and excited about future projects.”
Walker added: “Huge thanks to all my fans for their support and big love to my Geordie Shore family.”
Rebecca went on to tweet:
‘I’m leaving Geordie Shore! I’ve had a mint time – Cancun was crazy and I’m glad to be going out on a high. Big thanks to all my fans.’
‘Thanks for all your lovely tweets they mean the world to me I love yous all x’
MTV said of her exit: “Rebecca has been a great addition to the Geordie Shore house, feisty and with great banter, she will be missed.
“We wish her all the best in her future projects and look forward to seeing what she does next.”
Co-star James Tindale tweeted:

Charlotte Letitia added:

Becca will be missed. All the cast bring their on flavor to the show. Hope she is leaving happy and we will see her again.
I have adored Bec since she joined the family. Always been herself, a sweet
And funny las. I wouldn”t of coped as we as she did in her situation and she stayed strong, cheerful. I will miss her bubbly persona and charisma as will a lot of people. ” what is it we say about appearances? Yes, they can be deceiving. Butmost of the time, what you see is what you get. I will miss her, however I think it is likely she will go on to do something like Celebrity Big Brother
