Fear Of The Unknown deliver an amazing routine on second Got To Dance semi-final

Theatrical Glasgow-based dance troupe Fear Of The Unknown took to the stage in the second round of Got To Dance semi-finals tonight. In their pre-performance video, they talk about some new risky moves they’re planning to try…
I’ve gotta say, I love their costumes. Even without the dancing, these girls would be putting on a stunning visual show. The costumes are stunning. The dance moves are acrobatic in the extreme. There are human pyramids, backflips and everybody disappearing into a large pink hole. I know…Their use of the stage was inspired though. Although it was an incredibly busy routine, it held together well. Every bit of the stage was used to good effect.
What did the judges think? Adam Garcia was struck dumb, but he called them “the masters of the grand gesture…you have such an impact. You’re memorable, you’re great dancers.” Ashley Banjo praised their production values, “you did not disappoint one bit. You inspire energy. I think we’d be missing something if we didn’t have you in the final.” Kimberley Wyatt raved “It was like Cirque de Soliel…you say you came here to inspire. That you did!”
