Grease is The Word: Meet Your Final 8 Couples!
From the thousands of hopefuls who auditioned across the country, just seventy potential Sandy’s and Danny’s have made it through and been invited to compete at Bootcamp.
This is where it gets serious. Separated from their friends and families and taken to Hedsor House, a mansion in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, the contestants can feel the tension and each is beginning to feel that bit closer to the prized West End stage.
For three days they must focus solely on their singing, dancing and acting skills, putting in their all to make their performances in front of the judges slick and impressive.
The contestants also get to meet their singing and dancing coaches for the first time. Stacey Haynes is resident choreographer, teaching the hopefuls all the steps they need, and Yvie Burnett and John Modi are the vocal coaches. All are on hand to support the contestants on this first key stage of their journey.
There is palpable shock from the contestants when the judges reveal that they will practice and compete in couples from here on in, and further surprise when they are rewarded with a High School Prom to let their hair down.
By the end of this tough three days, the final eight couples will be chosen.
