Hell’s Kitchen 2009: Marco Pierre White Talks About Feuds With Angus Deayton & Gordon Ramsay

Hell's Kitchen: Marco Pierre White

Hell’s Kitchen chef, Marco Pierre White, has opened up about his well documented feud with former show presenter Angus Deayton.

Deayton was sacked from the show just last month after Pierre White refused to work with him any longer. White told the News Of The World: “His humour was forced, and negative. I would be working hard and he would be making jibes at where I came from and my name.

Deayton has been replaced by Claudia Winkleman.

“Claudia is naturally funny and the energy around her is much nicer,” Pierre White added.

White then turned his wrath on fellow chef and former protégé Gordon Ramsay

“Gordon’s made some big mistakes, but trying to deny his affair was probably the biggest,” the chef explained. “He deserved to be exposed.

“He will be remembered for how he’s behaved on TV, and behind his wife’s back, not on the great things he’s achieved in the kitchen. His Michelin stars are now an irrelevance. And that’s what he’s becoming.”

    Marco
It is sad that someone with Marco status within the chef world is having a go at
Ramsey in this way, may it be that due to his American shows are axed? and Ramsey
has made it big in America.

Sour Grapes Marco, live with it Gordan Ramsey is more respected in the USA than you
will ever be. Your attitude has a lot to be desired, get a life.

Marco, could you not get over your disagreements with Angus ? because Claudia will drive us all to drink – wobbling about whilst trying to read the auto cue through that fringe ……….

Tony – Ramsay trained under White, he was Gordon’s hero, but Marco fell out with him when GR started doing loads of TV. MPW tried to stay out of the limelight for years, trust me, he has no envy for GR’s fame. He attests that ‘tv chefs’ etc cheapen his trade.

  4. Tony says:

Dave – OK I repect your email and your view. On a personal note I think that Ramsey will be going bankrupt later this year as he has had is day at the top of the trade.

MPW – would you consider a weeks training for someone that has tride so many ways to get in to the trade than you would ever believe, someone that has determination to succeed one day, that wants to learn from the “MASTER” himself. The door has opened could MPW welcome such a person? I await your reply with eager anticipation
