Celebrity Masterchef winner Liz McClarnon has backed Ade Edmondson’s recent comments, that Hell’s Kitchen is less about food and more about entertainment.

Liz told What’s On TV: “I think in Hell’s Kitchen it’s more about TV than it is about cooking, it’s more about the drama and it’s a bit scary to be honest.”

She continued: “I am just more scared of Marco Pierre White – I think he’s a bit much. It’s less about impressing the chef with your all-around ability than it is like with MasterChef, which was more about food.”

Liz also revealed she is making a music comeback.

She said: “I have got a single coming out on May 18. It’s not my single – it’s for Global One which is a thing that’s going all around the world where we’re gonna release the same song in every country all at the same time and it’s gonna be in every language.

“I have recorded it in English for the English market, the Japanese market and also in French and Spanish.

“It’s called Lately and I think it sounds a bit like Whole Again.”
