The celebrity chef has revealed that he will be opening ‘White Weddings’, which is based at the West Tower country house in Lancashire town Aughton, in January 2010.

“Romance is what it’s all about in this industry, it’s what customers look for, but this is what a lot of modern day venues lack. Romance is the only thing that never dates – so I will invite my guests to step into a truly romantic environment,” said a the Leeds-born chef.

“This marks a new chapter in my career, I’ve never lost my Northern roots and I can’t wait to bring the next generation of events cuisine to the region. It’s about the occasion, about being with your family and friends, the experience as a whole.

“The future of hospitality in my opinion is affordable glamour, straightforwardness, back to basics. This is what I will be bringing to the North West with the opening of this venue.”
