The Red Kitchen Play Dirty!
It was battle of the teams on tonights Hells Kitchen USA .
Chef Gordon Ramsey decided that Hells Kitchen would be transformed for the evening into a traditional pasta house. There was to be two dinner sittings with one team cooking and one serving tables at each.
First up was the red team in the kitchen. They managed to serve less than half of the overall orders and by the end of the sitting Jessica of the blue team was handing out random starters to the customers who were still waiting for and unlikely to receive their main courses.
In the second sitting the blue team didn’t do any better. This wasn’t helped by the red teams sabotage and dirty tricks. They knew that the most time consuming dish to cook was Lasagne they also knew that the blue team were running low on lasagne ingredients, so they recommended this dish to each table they served. As a result the blue team managed to get out even less dishes and orders than their rivals.
At the end of the night Gordon Ramsay reviewed the customer feedback. Although the red team served more food, the blue team’s dishes were better received by the diners. Customers also rated the red team much lower than the blue for their serving skills, despite the fact that they had one extra team member.
So the decision was easy…….The blue team won. Michael got to nominate two fellow red team members for eviction and chose Elsie and his main competitor Chris (the executive chef). Gordon asked Chris to leave on the basis that he has been boasting about his executive status since arriving at Hells Kitchen and has repeatedly under performed. And so this week on Hells Kitchen USA seven became six, the competition got even more tense as the remaining contestants got one step closer to owning their own restaurant!
