Anyone watching the I’d Do Anything results show last night couldn’t have missed Sir Andrew Lloyd Webbers furious departure from set before the show ended.
Sir Andrew was forced to choose between Niamh Perry and Keisha Amponsa-Banson after the sing off and rightly chose to save Niamh.
But Andrew snapped: “This is a complete and utter travesty. Neither of you should be in the bottom two, it’s completely wrong.
“I’ve been put into a situation that I have never wanted to be in.
“For the first time on a television show, I am angry.”
I don’t know why Lloyd Webber is so upset. He may have liked Keisha, but this was her third time in the bottom two and if she can’t connect with an audience then how good would she be on a West End stage?
This show is decided by a public vote, thats the whole premise of the competition. If Sir Andrew wanted to choose his own lead actress for the role of Nancy then he shouldn’t have bothered with the whole talent search idea.
