Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber has told The Daily Mirror that he has been completely surprised by his second career as a TV personality. The I’d Do Anything judge admitted that he never imagined that he would be appearing on TV shows as often as he is.

“I didn’t really mean to start a second career. I stumbled on it by accident.

“All I thought was I am doing what I do in the day anyway. I am naturally naughty and love having a laugh. I thought it would be quite fun to do something constructive with young people on TV and not make it like the X Factor or American Idol,” he said.
