ITV bosses have vowed to keep hold of telly duo Ant and Dec despite the current credit crunch.

Ant and Dec currently present Britain’s Got Talent, Saturday Night Takeaway and I’m A Celebrity for the channel and ITV are keen to keep them on board.

An ITV source told The Sun: “Watching the boys on form on Britain’s Got Talent is something to behold.

“It clearly shows that we have to do everything we can to make sure we keep them exclusive.”

The pair will have to take a pay cut if they do sign a new contract.

Ant said: “Everybody is suffering – it’s global – but what we’re interested in is making great shows.”

Dec added: “Our relationship with ITV is a big thing. We still have three really big shows.

“I don’t know if we’d have enough time to do a project on another channel.”
