David Dickinson, Wet and Whinging!
David Dickinson has been having a bad time over the last 24 hours and entered the Bush Telegraph for a rant at the producers last night. He raged: “Most people have got wet beds, this is not a good thing. They’re all p***-wet through. This strikes me as a bit silly. Tell the lad that’s monitoring it to keep his eyes open when it rains.”
“People are wet and demoralised. They’ve got a hard job to do. Can’t you see it p***ing down with rain – there’s a thunderstorm here.” He went on to say “I’m in a place where it’s not so bad. But can you imagine if your kitbag’s wet through and your beds are wet through? These are not Special Forces. We’re all stood round like f***ing drowned rats and it’s p***ing down with rain. Come on. Wet shirt, wet pants, and wet boots. They’re wet right the way through. If they start sleeping in that, well, I’ve had some experience of that as a boy so I know what I’m talking about.”
The usually dapper David is not just upset about the rain, but is also missing his grub. He claims to feel weak with hunger and points out that while the most of the campers are aged around thirty he is by far the oldest at 64 years of age.
Lets hope the rations increase and the rain stops or David could get very irritating very soon!

[...] David has certainly had a bad few days in camp, so lets hope the classic gags and routines from theTommy and Bobby will raise his spirits a bit. [...]
