Former That’s Life presenter, Esther Rantzen has become the fifth person to be voted off I’m A Celebrity.

After leaving the camp, she said: “I’m feeling very sorry to leave because they are such lovely people and the whole environment is so gorgeous. But I think it’s the right moment.”

Esther was a popular member of camp, who especially enjoyed flirting with former Eastenders actor Joe Swash.

In her interview with show hosts, Ant and Dec she spoke of how Joe helped her in camp saying:

“Joe brings exuberance. He’s incredibly tactile and that’s very lovable. Without words he can create this wonderful warmth.”

She added: “When he thinks something is wrong he just goes for it. Every now and again people would gang up against one or two individuals. I was upset with myself because I didn’t and couldn’t defuse things.

“It took little Joe who got so angry about things and confronted it. He held a mirror up to people and made them see what they’d done. I felt inadequate for not being able to do that.”
