I’m A Celebrity 2012: Final show to air tonight showing what happened when the stars left the jungle!
For those of you still in mourning over the end of I’m A Celebrity 2012, dry your eyes – ITV are treating us to an extra episode tonight to show the goings on once all the contestants had left the jungle!
In this hour long episode, to be shown at 9pm tonight, we will be shown exactly what happened when the campmates were let back into civilized society, including Coronation Street star, Helen Flanagan, having a fight with a light bulb!
We will watch Helen, who almost let the camp starve to death after failing to win any stars during the first five trials the public voted her to do consecutively, exclaim to her mother:
“It was so hard. It was awful, It’s just such a relief to see my mum and dad. It’s just overwhelming you know.”
Later in the show, and seemingly a bit more positive, she admits that she enjoyed having food delivered to camp and having the others cook it for her, adding: “I think I quite liked my simple jungle life. I didn’t have to worry about anything. I got woken up, got my food delivered to me. It was very simple. It was very stress free.”
Sat between her parents in the back of a car taking her to the hotel, she continued: “The only thing I was worried about was my pride because I felt like I really humiliated myself in the Trials because of how scared I was.”
Her mother then felt the need to inform her that her feelings were spot on, saying: “Well it wasn’t just the Trials, it was the day after… what the Press were saying was really hurtful, and then you’d see the headlines and it said Helen is the most hated celebrity ever… That was very hurtful. Even your dad had a little cry. It was difficult.”
Later back in the hotel, Helen had a chance to read some of the headlines herself, and exclaimed: “Oh my God, that’s hilarious, so ridiculous, so funny”
Until she came across one which branded her the ‘most hated celebrity’ to which she said: “Gosh, really? That’s a bit harsh. Why?”
“I just don’t want people to know that they’ve upset my mum” she explained (probably should have left that out of the TV show then!)
“I think what’s worse actually is I’m not being funny, I’m not upset, I will be more upset if it upsets my mum so I don’t want to talk about the articles because I’m not having my mum being upset. I don’t want to talk about it at all.”
She added: “Even this time last year, I was suffering from crippling anxiety. I mean I never ever thought in my life I’d have been able to do an interview like this. I struggled so much on set, I don’t know what it was. It as a mixture of . . I did get quite depressed at Corrie so I think . . . “
Then pausing for dramatical effect, she continued: “I think in myself I am so proud of myself because I know how far I’ve come,” she explained.
Another emotional reunion was that of Made In Chelsea star, Hugo Taylor, and his girlfriend, Natalie Joel.
Never one to really hide his emotions, Hugo wept as he exclaimed to Natalie:
“I’m so happy to be out,
“I’ve been thinking about you so much. I tried not to but I did. For the first two weeks, every time I thought of you I was just like no, don’t. Too difficult,” he sobbed.
He then went on to reveal how the letter from his mum which was burnt during a trial, had been copied and so he finally got read the news from home:
“My letter was burnt last night during the letter reading trial but luckily it’s been saved so I’ve got some news from my mum.”
He began reading it out: “Darling Hugo, bravo, bravo. All the family support your right of passage with admiration and full or heart sharing the daily trials and tribulations of the jungle odyssey.”
Hugo stopped and turned to Natalie. “You’ll have to read it for me. I’ll start crying. It’s so sweet.”
“How you made us laugh with your classic lines and touched the deepest compassion for those struggles you have faced. We are so very proud of you.”
Cuddling Natalie he said, “This feels so good. I’m so happy to see you. I’ve never missed somebody more in my life.”
In other news Eric Bristow ate so much he was sick!
