It was the return of the Dreaded Digger on last night’s I’m A Celebrity and comedienne Jenny successfully won seven stars for camp

Arriving at the ‘building site’ Jenny was confronted by the digger, which had been the topic of much debate in camp last week.

On the building site in front of the digger were 8 stars which had to picked up by the magnet on the front of the digger and dropped into a skip. Each star in the skip worth a meal for camp. Jenny would also be joined by unexpected jungle guests.

Jenny arrived at the trial area to surprised reactions from Ant and Dec who didn’t expect to see her back for a trial so soon. Jenny however was confident she could do well saying that the trial “can’t be as bad as the eating one”. Ant and Dec told Jenny that she could do what Gillian had done and choose not to do it but Jenny gamely said she’d “give it a go”. On the sound of the klaxon the 10 minutes allocated for the trial began and Jenny got started.

Jenny got the first star after only a minute but knocked over the second one and decided to leave it. At this point the creepy crawlies started to join her including cockroaches, mealworms and green ants to which Jenny just said “Now you’re just showing off”.

Jenny managed to ignore the critters for the most part and managed to get the remaining 6 stars fairly easily, undeterred by the loud bang and smoke which accompanied the lifting of each star.

After the Trial Jenny admitted that she “really enjoyed the driving” and she didn’t think about what was falling on her.

When asked if she could see why Gillian backed out with out attempting it, Jenny asked, “Did she have a go at driving the thing?…Did she know things would drop on her head? Well everyone’s got their thresholds haven’t they? There are certain things I know I can’t do and bugs just aren’t one of them.”
