After days of lethargically lying around camp, David suddenly found a spring in his step. Feeling mischievous, he spent the day taunting the camera men hidden in hides around the camp. He played hide and seek outside their huts, pretended lizards were singing Bonnie Tyler hits to them and at other times ran around with wild hair banging on walls to annoy them.
“I’m feeling stir crazy, he said with a glint in his eye. “My intent is to explore these mountains today like I have never explored them before. I’m in a frisky mood and yes, I’m causing trouble.
“I’m having so much fun, he later said in the Bush Telegraph.
“What else am I trying to do today – probably act like I’m 12! It’s a great feeling. Michael Jackson and I used to act like we were kids all the time.
