It would appear that David Gest has not yet realised that we can hear everything! He naively thought that by removing his microphone while chatting to Matt today we would never know what he was saying……silly man!

The group were sitting around the campfire when the topic of David’s marriage to Liza Minnelli arose. David, assuming that this would be the best time to tackle Matt about his recent comments in the press, removed his microphone…….

“You said you hated that kiss in the paper,� smiled David, referring to the very famous and much publicised kiss between David and Liza on their wedding day.

“Did I?� Matt replied. “I can’t stand seeing anyone kiss. I’m sure you were awesome though.�

David continued: “So, three months after we were married, we were in bed and I turned on the TV and it was a greatest weddings special and number one was our wedding and there goes that kiss that you talked about, and I’d never seen it. I pulled up the covers.�

“You loved it,� Matt interrupted.

“It looked like a shark going in, it was so embarrassing,� David told his enthralled audience. “I looked at that and went, ‘oh my god, don’t ever show me that again.’ I said ‘What the hell happened?’ and she said ‘You got excited,’ and I was haunted by that kiss because people aren’t used to that.�

“People are used to movie kisses,� Myleene interjected. “and you were like, I’m not messing about. I’m going in for the kill.�

David went on to tell his new pals how he and his ex-wife first met…..

“I was doing a Michael Jackson 30th anniversary celebration. Mike called and said I want Liza on air. I said she’s too fat…and I don’t think she can sing – she didn’t fit with all these people. And he said, ‘You have to hear her sing’.�

David went on to explain that he went to hear Liza sing and as soon as he saw her “pug nose and those eyes� it didn’t matter that she was “this big� and a week later they were living together.

I really hope and pray that Liza Minnelli is watching this show avidly, or reads some of this coverage. If I was her I would hunt him down as soon as he set foot out of the jungle camp and make him pay for calling me fat! What gentleman does that to a lady on national TV.

I would normally be calling for the public to be wise and evict Mr Gest asap….but to be honest I have a horrible feeling that he is going to be the most interesting person in this years I’m A Celebrity show. He’s like the Sophie Anderton of Love Island only 10 times more crazy, 100 times more interesting and by the end of the series he will probably be 1000 times more hated!
