Day two of ITV’s ‘I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ and we are already on our second bushtucker trial.

Todays trial was called ‘Flash Flood’ and you, the British Public, voted for David Gest to be locked in tank filled with water, alligators and snakes…..how kind!

As David made his way to his trial he bravely commented:

“I’m not nervous at all. I’m not up for the challenge but I’ll give it my best. Whatever happens happens� he added philosophically. I moved my bowels before I left camp and I’m ready to do this.�

Ant and Dec explained that David would be locked inside a tank inside which there would be ten locked pipes attached to the walls. Also inside the tanks would be ten wrenches but each wrench only fits one pipe.

The task would be to unscrew the pipes, releasing the stars along with a torrent or water and creatures. The added twist was that the tank would also start to fill with water from the bottom up.

With only five minutes before he would be completely submerged in water, David needed to try and collect ten stars.

The first pipe unscrewed released a stream of fish which didn’t seem to phase David as he calmly retrieved the first star.

Pipe two released two alligators and while David gained the star he couldn’t resist reacting: “Get out of the f**king way you bastard� as Ant and Dec collapsed in hysterical laughter outside the tank.

Pipe three released spiders and as David stood up with the star he joked “Hi, how are you.� David breezed through pipe four with the Yabby crayfish, pipe five with more fish and pipe six, before the water began to rise above his face level.

As David clambered out, his six stars in hand, Ant helpfully told him: “You’ve got a spider on your head.�

“So, big deal� boasted the big DG as he reached up and plucked the creature from his scalp, throwing it to the floor.

You’ve got to admit, the man is an arrogant a**s but he isn’t afraid of much!
