Boxing champ Joe Bugner isn’t making many friends in the I’m A Celebrity jungle. He spent his first few days scaring the campers with his talk of poisonous spiders and deadly snakes and now he has claimed that AIDS was created by the CIA.

Gay TV presenter Justin Ryan was visibly upset and said in the Bush Telegraph:

“Joe’s made me feel really uncomfortable with his comments about Aids and the CIA.

“But I’m going to bite my tongue on this occasion and pretend it never happened.”

A show insider told The Sun: “Joe’s caused a lot of conflict since he arrived.

“He’s a real wind-up merchant who’s got some odd theories about life. He loves getting a reaction from people.

“Most of it is pretty harmless. But he went too far with this one.

“Justin and Colin just stared at each other. They couldn’t believe what he said. They’re very wary of him now.”
