Katie Price will return to our TV screens in I’m A Celebrity tomorrow night and the former glamour model says she decided to do the show so she could gain some closure.

Katie appeared on the ITV reality TV show in 2004 and it was in the jungle that she met her now ex-husband, Peter Andre.

The Mirror quote Katie as saying:

“For others, it’s a game show. For me, it’s closure. I’m going back to a place where a big fairytale began for me.

“I met my husband, I had two more beautiful children and six years on I’ve been married, divorced, ready to go back in. I’ve had a crap year and the fairytale has ended. I’m going in for closure.”

Katie continued: “People think I’m breaking down, I’ve lost the plot, I’m not a good mum, I’m a man-eater.

“They’ve got all these perceptions but I think that when people see me again, like last time, they’ll see I’m grounded, if not more grounded.

“You’ll always get people who will knock it, you’ll always get people who will support it.

“I’ve no agenda, I’m not going to act any different. Obviously six years on I’m more mature, I’m wiser, and I shall just be myself.”
