I’m A Celebrity: Marc Bannerman Reunites With Cerys Matthews
Now you can call me cynical….and I’d probably agree, but I find it hard to believe all the hype around Cerys Matthews and Marc Bannerman at the minute.
The pair supposedly fell in love in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, despite the fact that Marc had a long term girlfriend.
Marc left the show first, flew back to London and failed to return to Australia to greet Cerys when she emerged. However, a few days after Cerys got out, long enough for her PR team to have fully briefed her the pair earn an estimated £100 million for giving interviews about their burning love for each other. The passion was so hot that for two weeks the pair remained on opposite sides of the world from each other.
Finally this week Cerys Matthews and Marc Bannerman have been reunited……
When I see these people, all I can see is two people with flagging careers, desperate for the fame that has alluded them in recent years. Are they really ‘in love’? I doubt it, but I have been proved wrong before!

What people will do to get extra publicity and money, how can they be in love until he went in their he was living with his girlfriend and trying for a baby. After sharing a few weeks in a unnatural place they are declaring their undying love, this is only after being dumped and not bothering to go back and greet Cerys even though he said he would. She is not a niave teenager but a adult with 2 young children who has just got out of a bad relationship why would she get involved with a love rat - oh yes I forgot lots of money from magazine stories etc they can make more if they are a “couple”. How long after the publicity dies down will they mutually split?
