The I’m A Celebrity campmates started yesterday with a conversation about sexual behaviour and swinging and John was shocked by the revelation from Biggins that lots of people take part in orgies.

He said to Biggins: “Are you saying it’s quite normal for three or four people in the same room at the same time who shag each other? I had no idea it was like that. I’m not there, count me out. I’m not judging anyone, I’m just one of those that enjoys sex, yes, but with one person.”

Gemma said she wouldn’t do it and wouldn’t consider doing it but a friend of hers used to invite another girl round for a threesome.

“I couldn’t do it, I would go mad seeing another woman with my fella,” she said.

John, still astounded by Biggins suggestion that threesomes and foursomes go on all the time, said: “Am I right about this, it is very common place? Tell me how it would work, two guys and two girls? I don’t care about anything like that.”

Later in the Bush Telegraph he said: ‘I’m missing sex more than anything actually, it doesn’t change just because you get older so I’m completely missing sex.”

Biggins said: “There are straight parties where 10 couples go, they have dinner and literally throw the keys into the middle of the table, it’s not the majority but it’s very near. You would be surprised.”
