In a News of the World report today, one of Katie Price’s best friend, Gary Cockerill, has revealed how she was allegedly raped by “a celebrity” while at his house.

The article states that Katie had been one of many guests at a party held by Cockerill, and that she stayed overnight, as did several others.

Cockerill claims that Kate woke him in the middle of the night and said, “I think I’ve been raped.”

Cockerill told the paper, “When Kate came in she looked shocking.

“There was no expression on her face whatsoever and she was deathly pale. Phill [my boyfriend] and I were momentarily stunned into silence by what she told us…”

However, it seems that Price didn’t want the police involved and resolved to “deal with it my way.”

She apparently told Cockerill, “I don’t know. . . I’m not sure if you could class it as rape.

“But I did something that I really didn’t want to do. I was. . . I was held down.

“I kept telling him I didn’t want to do it, I told him to stop. . .”

Cockerill states, “She just kept repeating, ‘I need to think about this, I need to sort this out in my head.’

“I said, ‘Kate, don’t you think you need to involve the police? This guy raped you.’

“But she insisted firmly, ‘No, I need to deal with this in my own way.’”

The incident apparently occurred years ago, and only recently has Price spoken out about it, but she’s steadfastly refused to reveal the identity of her alleged attacker.
