It was the eviction all the jungle dwellers dreaded. No one wanted to be first out, no one wanted to be that unpopular. But tonight the nicer half of the comedy duo Cannon and Ball left the jungle.

Tommy Cannon arrived in camp just 4 days ago and unlike his partner Bobby Ball managed to fit in very well. While Bobby irritated just about everybody, Tommy chipped in with the jobs and chores and made friends with the other contestants.

He also managed with Bobby to complete a bushtucker trial achieving nine stars, the most gained in this series so far. But all that wasn’t enough to gain the public’s support, it seems nice guys don’t win.

Had the voting process been different and people were asked to vote contestants out Tommy could have made the finals as it is hard to see anybody actively disliking him. But people were voting for who they wanted to remain and he obviously wasn’t charasmatic enough to inspire people either way.

To date Tommy has been Bobby’s support in camp. He led him through the trial, helped him with tasks and acted as emotional back up to his friend. So how will Bobby cope alone? Time will tell so watch this space!
