With their debut album heading to the top of the charts, electric string quartet Escala are today named the legs of innovative hosiery brand Pretty Polly.
The glamorous four-piece caused a sensation in the final of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent in 2008 and were immediately signed by music mogul Simon Cowell. This week saw them triumphantly return to the show with a performance of the Led Zeppelin classic Kashmir, watched by 15 million viewers.

Coleen McLoughlin has been set the challenge of a lifetime…to find naturally beautiful women to be the face of eight major brands in her brand new series, Coleen’s Real Women.
In each episode, Coleen, the nation’s favourite girl next door, will scour the streets of Britain in search of real women to win eight high profile modelling assignments. These will be genuine jobs but with one major difference – all the women Coleen selects are amateurs, all professional models will be barred.

At the age of 14, Holly was discovered by the Storm Modelling Agency while on a school trip. In just a few years she had been the face of Rimmel, the body of Pretty Polly and appeared on the covers of various women’s magazines.
Holly has appeared in numerous TV commercials and proved herself as a natural in front of the camera. It was then she decided that TV presenting was the job for her.
Joining a friend for a casting led Holly to land her first job in television when a production company were looking for a team of fresh young presenters to host their new Saturday morning show, S Club TV.
In 2003, Holly recorded Call The Shots and Xperi-mental, along with coverage of Fame Academy (BBC) and Xchange (CBBC).
In 2004, Holly co-presented the Game Star Awards (ITV1), Junior Eurovision (ITV), CD:UK (ITV), and the 19 Management’s Anniversary Party at the Royal Albert Hall, in London. Read more & comment »

I had a laugh at Polly Hudson’s column in The Mirror today – she’s finally gone completely round the bend about this year’s Big Brother!
Polly usually does a run down of how each housemate has been performing over the week, complete with barbed comments and point-blank nastiness about our favourite guinnea pigs. This week, she’s decided Big Brother is so dull that her pet cat is more entertaining:
To my knowledge Ronald Meowington’s never been on Big Brother and has no plans to apply but everything he’s done since May has been 88 per cent more entertaining than anything that’s happened in BB7.
So, instead of listing the goings-on in the Big Brother house, Polly has listed all the things that are more interesting than the housemates. Namely their arch rivals.
What do you think is more interesting than Big Bro this year?

Polly Hudson in the Mirror always gives a hilarious review of the current Reality TV show and she certainly didn’t disappoint when it came to Celebrity Big Brother 2006.
I love her description of Jodie Marsh as “likely to be the new McCririck with tighter pants.” and her view on George Galloways entry is “he says he’s in “to show a large and different audience what I’m really like”. This member of the large and different audience wishes he’d stayed home instead.”
Hilarious!

Polly Hudson is one witty chick! I have loved some of her X Factor articles in the past and her sum up of this years I’m A Celebrity contestants doesn’t disappoint!
I do think we should all join her campaign and pay the Austrailians to keep Bobby Ball, wouldn’t the UK be a better place without his annoyances! Imagine how much more he is going to be on TV if he comes back!

The cynics amongst us will love this! A truly scathing report on saturday nights X factor performances. You may not agree with Polly’s views but you have to admit they are hilarious!
