Just the Two Of Us doesn’t have very many talented celebrities appearing on it this year, and perhaps the least vocally talented is John Bardon, AKA Jim Branning from Eastenders.
Its surprising then that so many people would like “Jim To Win” the show and that he has been taken to the public’s heart so quickly.
Caroline Dutton from This Is Lancashire is one person backing John, saying:
JIM to win - that’s all I’m saying on the TV car crash that is Just the Two of Us.
Seeing EastEnders’ Jim Branning clinging to soul sister Jocelyn Brown like a life raft, I almost expected him to start clutching his chest and start wailing “Dora-fee, me eart, me eart!”
And now I’m on the subject, have you noticed how watching a greying man slaughtering a love song while doing the sort of dancing that would put your dad to shame is hilarious and a endearing?
Even Lee at TV Dinners thinks John will reach the final! And they call this a singing contest!
