Tonights final of the celebrity duet show ‘Just The Two Of Us’ saw ‘Cutting It’ actress Sian Reeves and partner Russell (The Voice) Watson competing with Holby City actor Mark Moraghan and ex Atomic Kitten singer Natasha Hamilton for the ‘Just The Two Of Us’ trophy.
Both duets had four songs to sing which included
Mark and Natasha:
1) Kids
2) You Can’t Take That Away From Me
3) I’ve Had The Time Of My Life.
Sian and Russell
1) Great Balls Of Fire
2) Annie’s Song
3) I Would Do Anything For Love
and the final song ‘Your Song’ was sang together by all four finalists.
Throughout the show Mark Moraghan and Natasha Hamilton remained at the top of the leader board as the judges favourites to win, with Sian Reeves and Russell Watson following closely behind.
At the end of the night I think everyone would have agreed that Mark and Natasha were definately the more talented couple. Mark’s singing beat Sian’s hands down, so that should have been it. Mark and Natasha deserved to win.
But as we know the public never works that way, instead the public voted for Sian’s vast improvement, for her and Russells increased chemistry, and as always, for the under-dog.
Sian Reeves and Russell Watson were named the winners of ‘Just The Two Of Us’ they were handed the trophy, but at the end of it all I think we all knew who the winners should have been don’t we!

It was absolutely criminal that Sian won. I was screaming at the TV ‘NOooooo!…..’HOW and WHY did she win?
I was still fuming at the previous night’s result when Chris was voted off. The whole thing was a fiasco……the viewers were suppose to vote for the celeb not the professional singer/or was it sympathy voting…… Sian’e tears on Saturday, even stopped the judges from giving her proper constructive criticism.
Mark was the real winner……he was not carried by his partner and could actually sing. Sian was either an emotional bag of nerves, shocked at any negative criticism (face it girl you CANNOT SING) or would annoyingly grin whilst tilting her head onto Russell’s shoulder.!
If programme’s run again( I won’t hold my breath) the final decisions should be with the judges. As one of the judges ‘Cece’ kept saying, WE’VE GOT TO COMMENT ON THE SINGING.
I agree with Monica! It should have been Chris and Jo in the final but I’m sure it was all of Russells granny fans that did it! I gave up watching it all though I did enjoy dancing on ice
i am absolutely disgusted with ‘ just the two of us’ i thought the point of the programme was to vote for the celeb not the singer , dont get me wrong i adore russell watson but we should not have been voting for him , the public should be ashamed i personally think sian did not deserve to get thro the first performance , MARK was fantastic !!!!!
Sian won hands down, wonderfull acting even the tears looked real.
Sorry it was a singing contest she was rubbish!
