Expect flirting, cat fights and heartfelt emotion as the contestants do whatever it takes to impress the posh reality
star on a series of hot dates in some of the most glamorous, romantic and breathtaking locations in the world.
Eton-educated Spencer made a name for himself as a ladies’man on E4′s hit reality series ‘Made In Chelsea’. His conquests have included his co-star Caggie Dunlop and best friend Jamie Laing’s girlfriend, Louise Thompson. Spencer began his professional career as a PR Manager for some of London’s top clubs, before becoming a broker in the city. He is also a trained actor and attended film school in Los Angeles. His family own the exclusive Eden Rock Hotel in St Barths in the French West Indies. Spencer is fit in all senses of the word: the 24-year-old bachelor has run several marathons and enjoys high-octane sports such as skydiving and snowboarding.
Spencer will have his pick of some of the most attractive women in the UK, from beautiful models to ambitious careerwomen. Through a variety of group dates and intimate meetings, he has to decide who is the right girl for him, gradually whittling down the group of girls from24 to the chosen one and, along the way, learn exactly what it is he is looking for in a soulmate.
Emotions run high in ‘The Bachelor’ and not just on the dates. The girls will be living together and sharing the same space – and the same man! There will be real drama as they spark off each other and as real rivalries emerge. ‘The Bachelor’ offers the girls an exclusive lifestyle normally only available to the likes of movie stars and the super rich. They will be sharing a communal villa in sun-soaked southern Europe, while Spencer will live alone, but nearby, in a luxurious bachelor pad.
Spencer says, “I feel flattered to have been put forward to be this year’s Bachelor. The concept surrounding the show is a great one and will certainly make for an interesting adventure at this point inmy life. I’ve been the lothario of ‘MIC’ for a while, but now I’d prefer to have something serious… I truly believe that the time is right to look for, and hopefully find during the process of this series, someone with whom I can share a loving and meaningful relationship.”
The Bachelor starts at 10pm tonight on Channel 5. Will you be tuning in? Leave your comments below…
