When the last series of Made In Chelsea drew to an end, Louise Thompson and Spencer Matthews were building bridges and had turned a corner in their relationship.

They seemed all loved up, even though Spencer had to break the heart of his best friend Jamie Laing to land the pretty brunette, but just a few weeks later, despite all the drama he caused on the reality TV show, he announced that they had already split and blamed a series of ‘petty’ arguments on the break up.

It all sounded a little bit suspicious to us, especially as rumours had been circulating that the hunk was to be the new star of the Channel 5 series ‘The Bachelor.’

Bosses confirmed recently that the heir to Eden Rock Hotel will be at the centre of their dating show and will have to choose between 24 beauties all battling for his heart later this month.

However, Louise thinks that there is still hope for her and Matthews and insisted that she will win him back when the series comes to an end.

Louise told Reveal magazine: “We may not be together in a physical sense, but that’s only down to the fact that he isn’t allowed to see me when he’s filming. But we’re still speaking everyday and I still love him.

“Officially, we aren’t together, but I wont get with anyone else.”

Thompson doesn’t blame Spencer for accepting his latest job, as she confessed that she would be happy to take part in ‘The Bachelorette’ if she was offered enough cash.

Spencer is already filming for the series, which launches on Channel Five this summer and Louise admitted that he has already locked lips with some of the hopefuls, vying for his attention.

She doesn’t think any of them present a real or long term challenge to her though and added:

“I ask Spencer what he’s been up to. I know he’s kissed some of them, but I think it’s unlikely he’ll fall in love with one of them. By the sounds of it, I don’t have much to worry about at all. I think a couple of them work in strip clubs.”

But the pretty student won’t wait around forever and will walk away from Spencer for good, if he beds one of the new ladies in his life. She insisted:

“If he does end up with someone he really likes, then he’ll inevitably sleep with her. Then I’ll have to fully move on.”
