Over The Rainbow: Steph Fearon glad to have come so far

Outgoing Over The Rainbow contestant Steph Fearon has admitted that she is glad to have come so far in the show, considering that she was in the bottom two in week one.

Steph was voted off the semi final show last night, after finding herself in the bottom two alongside Lauren Samuels.

On his decision to send her home Andrew Lloyd Webber said:

“I just didn’t quite the connection with what you were doing acting wise. You’re a fantastic singer but I did believe Lauren a little bit more.”

After being eliminated Steph told The Sun:

“After being in the bottom two in week one I never in a million years dreamed that I would come this far. I’m really happy I did this well.”

She added: “Lauren and I had both been in the bottom two twice, the same as Danielle Hope, so you really couldn’t call it.

“Also, we’d all had really good comments and while Sophie Evans had only been in the bottom two once she hadn’t had as good feedback.

“The standard was so high, there was no frontrunner.”
