Darius Campbell (formerly Danesh) has won the first ever series of Popstar To Operastar.

Singing against Bernie Nolan tonight, Darius performed a solo song, a duet with Rolando Villazon and a group piece with Bernie, Katherine Jenkins and Rolando.

We thought that Bernie was the more consistent singer throughout the series, however she faltered a little tonight and in the end Darius slipped ahead. For a full rundown of tonight’s show check out our liveblog here.

It’s nice to see him winning a show and maybe now that he finally has, he’ll give up on reality TV for good and forge a real career for himself! We love Darius and lust after him in a most embarrassing manner. Please someone give him a record deal or a movie role, he can’t do reality TV shows forever!
