Singer and reality TV star Myleene Klass made no secret of the fact that the breakdown of her marriage to Graham Quinn devastated her, coming as it did just a year after they married.

Reports at the time of the split earlier this year also revealed that she was so haunted by memories of her relationship with Graham – the couple were together for 11 years before they wed – that she had to sell the house they formerly shared, preferring instead to spend time with friends and family until she found a new home.

However, Myleene has spent the last week in Los Angeles with her children, Ava and Hero who’ve all been enjoying a break in the sun.

A friend of Myleene’s told People, “Myleene has had a very tough time but she has finally accepted her marriage is over and is now ready to move on with her life…

“Her main priority is her children, she knows none of this has been easy for them either but now she’s ready to find a new man.

“For the first time for weeks, she is smiling again and is in a good place.

“Myleene knew that she couldn’t mope around forever, she wants to get on with it and make herself happy again.”

The source added, “Myleene and Graham were together for 11 years and she thought they would be a married couple for the rest of their lives so she suddenly found herself alone.

“She has gradually put her life back together and is ready for a new start.”

And as to what her immediate future holds, it seems Myleene may be considering a permanent move to the States, where she’s hoping to make a career in reality TV presenting.
