It’s the time of year when we all take a good long, hard look at ourselves, and we don’t always like what we see. But 10 Years Younger is back full of New Year resolutions for a new younger you. From beating the January blues with a sexy new wardrobe to a buyer’s guide to combating the January sales, 10 Years Younger is back with all you need to know about treatments and trends for 2007. Bev Hawkins from Suffolk is 48, but a poll of 100 people puts her at 61. Nicky Hambleton-Jones steps in to inject a much-needed element of youth.

i watched your programme for the first time last night and it made think about myself as a person for the first time in years i would love to be given the confidence to joint the majority not the minority if ever you are looking for volunteers i would be more than willing to take part
I am writing on behalf of my mum, Theresa Edwards.
She is a full time district Nurse in Chorley Lancashire and works very hard even though she turned 60 last year.
we were looking at pictures from the 60’s and 70’s when she was very glamorous but in recent years, she feels life and work has taken its toal, my father also died 12 years ago and i feel it was since this time, she said to me she would love a make-over and to feel good about herself again, hence the e-mail.
I would love for her to feel happy about herself again!!

Hi! I am a woman who has simply lost her way. I worked hard all my life, paid myself through college, found the man of my dreams, had a job that I loved, financial sound (my own account)…. and then it all came crashing down. When I got married I moved away to Petawawa, away from my family and friends and my job, then I couldn’t find a job for 6 months. Once I finally found a job THAT I LOVED and everything seemed to be moving to the next level (house hunting, kids, etc) I was laid off work because of the economy being the way it is. 2 days later, my husband told me he no longer loves me and wanted a separation asap. Now I’m living with my parents, jobless, gained some weight and just feel and look awful. I have just been spinning from stress and emotion. I got deep smile lines, dark circles, my glasses make me look old, I’m getting greys in my hair (all of the sudden), my hair is out of date. One time I asked someone how old they think I am and they said 40. I’m 27 years old. I just lost my shine.
I need a confidence booster REAL BAD! I need to get my groove back so I can tackle the world again.
Hi, I have been single now for over twenty years or more lost count now I have lost all my confidence. At 53 I look so much older, my skin now resembles a rhino , my face is falling apart and my neck can knock spots off a turkey. After looking after my Dad for many years he died in 2001, then looked after my Mum who had battled bowel cancer,then 1 year later face cancer ,then 1 year after that breast cancer sadly a year later I lost her. Then my Son left me last year to go to U.S.A. After many years of caring for people I would so love to be cared for, please help give me back some years so I can look in a mirror and learn to smile again and maybe someone might learn to love me!!!
I am applying to you to see if I could ask for your help in giving me the lift I need to get back on tracks, I can’t bare my husband looking at my body it seems that everything has gone haywire I try to keep myself trim but due to a back injury I had 10 years ago and which I have to take morphine 60mg and is not something that will ever go away only get worse I seem to have hit rock bottom, I look like a hound dog with my jowls, I have lost nearly all my top teeth through no fault of my own, all in all I am a mess and I am sorry if I sound sorry for myself, I do try and put a brave face on for my family who are the ones that said to have a go and see if I could be put forward for 10 Year Younger. hi I would like to put my mother in law forward for the 10 years younger. she is 54 and looks 60-70. years of heavy smoking, not looking after herself,hard life has left her with saggy skin and rotten teeth she only has 1 tooth and does not wear false teeth . her hair is grey and she does not have a clue when it comes to style in clothing. she has a good figure but does not have a lot of confidence and is nervous. she does not what type of make-up suit her because she does not use make-up. she is single and me and my boyfriend are looking to get married in the next few years and would like her to be given a make-over in time for our wedding because we are quite embarrassed by her.
i am the stage where i will not leave the house or even speak to people because of my teeth I AM ALso very fat.Ihave got a few things going on jut now i have slow transit constipion i have underactive thyroids and to top it all of i am now going through the menopause i believe if i didnot have 3 kids ifeel i could not go on any longer i am felling that low and ugly toothless old before my time i am only excisting from day to day i wakeup ever day wishing i was dead i hope you can help me i feel if i could even get my mouth fix i have look at the prices and the lease price was ten thousand and i don;t have this kind of money as my partner is retierd and i look after my partners uncle who has alcsimers i know that this will not sort every thing but it would be a start
Hi I am a 57 year old woman and I have been watching your series over the last couple of years. I have always felt “What would it be like to be able to afford to change your appearance”.
Recently I have undergone surgery to have a breast reconstructure after discovring I had breast cancer. It makes a big dent in your confidence and self awareness of your body. Just to be able to smile again with a lovely set of teeth and guidance on hair care will be a big pick me up tonic. So when you have a new series I would love to participate.

hi i want to put my mum on 10 years younger,has she has had a really tough life,she looks alot older than she is and looks terrible all the time she is very deoressed with the way she looks and just sleeps her way through life.she works and soon has she comes home is sleep.
she has been a great mum to me whos 25 my 2 younger brothers who is 19 and 8.
she has had no partner for 7 years,theres alot more to say about her she has alot of friends but rearly goes out because of the way she looks,she is also a grandma to my 2 children,shes had a rollercoster of a life.
going threw domestic vilonce for most of it and im so proud of her i just wish i could do something in return to make the rest of her life worth living.

As my email address hints I am a salsa dancer. I am 64 years old , and although I am a good dancer, I am in competition for dance partners with many young and attractive young ladies for dance partners. I would love a make over to make me look 10 years younger. I would like a face and neck lift and eye bags removed, and a general make over. I have seen such wonderful results on your programme and I would just love all the attention and pampering that you give to your contestants. When you are older I feel that you become invisible, and I would like to be visible again.

2008, Husband gets manic episode sectioned under mental health act. 15yrs of marriage, my home and everything we ever worked for down the drain. 20year old son 14yr old son and dog moved into a flat (private rental over chinise chip shop.)23year old lives near.Husband returned to Germany for more specialist treatment where he will now remain. December 20year old lost his job in the auto industry so here I am trying to do a dissertaion and placements and support my family alone. Next March 2010 I graduate and there will be a graduation ball which i will be expected to attend. I feel barly human at the moment let alone female and didnt expect to be starting my life over yet again at my age. This was my third marriage, dont want to spend the rest of my life alone but dont know that I could ever trust or be confident enough that anyone else would want me anyway. Looks like from now on I’ll need to be married to my work as a nurse.
