We feel an I-told-you-so moment coming on here at Unreality TV, as Chantelle Houghton has today announced that her fiancée, cross-dressing Alex Reid, has walked out on her and their new-born daughter, Dolly.

Speaking in her new! Magazine column, out today, Houghton – who took a month to name her baby, announced the news.

Houghton and Reid’s relationship has been fraught with tension since it began, with the ex-wife of Samuel Preston resorting to sleeping on the floor of her unfurnished flat after walking out several times, even when she was pregnant.

The couple have released several previous statements regarding the status of their turbulent relationship and the problems it faced, but today may mark the beginning of the end!

Speaking in her column, the former Celebrity Big Brother contestant said:

“I can confirm that Alex did leave our house last week. He stayed at his mum’s and didn’t come back for a week.”

However, she then went on to say how the ex-wife, we mean ex-husband of Katie Price HAS returned to his new family after his little break, but was vary coy about the details, saying:

“Now he’s back but that’s all I want to say about it at the moment.”
