Alex Reid has claimed that his marriage to Katie Price is legal, denying reports that the American minister who married them had been struck off.

Writing in his Column for Star magazine (we say writing, but we’re not entirely sure that he’s capable of spelling all those big words) the cage fighter said:

Katie and I were upset by the stories last week about our Vegas wedding not being legal. It was a shock for us to hear that, but we got it checked out and the Reverend Henney is in fact authorised to perform marriage ceremonies.
So all of that was complete b*llocks. But do you know what? Even if it hadn’t been legit, we’d have gone straight back to Vegas and done it again. Also, we’re going to have a traditional ceremony in a church in the UK at some point this summer, so none of that stuff matters.
