Peter Andre has admitted that he was not allowed to see his son Junior on his fifth birthday and instead had to wait an extra week before he could give him his presents.

Both Peter and Alex Reid’s magazine columns mentioned the youngster’s birthday celebrations this week, with both celebrities boasting about the great presents they bought.

Alex Reid wrote in his Star magazine column: “We went to Legoland for Junior’s birthday. It was a great family day out.

“We bought Junior loads of stuff from the Ben 10 range for his presents. It is a cartoon about an alien-fighting kid. It’s all the craze and Junior’s really into it.”

Peter said in his new! magazine column: “I didn’t get to see Junior on his actual birthday.

“But I’m hoping the fact that I’ve got him a custom-made, electronic Jaguar will make up for it!”
