Amanda Holden has admitted that she is trying to convince Simon Cowell to run in the London Marathon.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge says that she thinks Simon would love the large audience.

‘I believe there are aspects of it which he would probably find irresistible,’ she says.

‘Like running round London for 26 miles, with people screaming his name the whole time.

‘He would absolutely love that. It would be a real boost to his ego. Not that he needs one!’

Amanda ran the marathon in just 4 hours, 13 seconds in 2008.

‘I loved every second of that,’ she told Take It Easy magazine.

‘I could have run it again, I was enjoying myself so much.’
