Danelle Hayes was practically crying before she even sang for the American Idol judges tonight, goodness only knows what she’d have done if Simon had torn her to shreds.

The Seattle mum of one told the judges about how horrible life is for her, constantly singing in bars and casinos. She added:

‘This would be an incredible opportunity to get to that next level so that I can support my family,” and Kara DioGuardi said, “I love that you wear your heart on your sleeve. It’s priceless.”

She went on to impress the judges with her rendition of ‘I’m the Only One.’ Simon remarked “I like you.you’re almost broken but you may have come in here just in time [for you] to rescue you from corporate hell. ”

Danelle deservedly got four yes’s and we just hope that she can cope with the pressures of American Idol as the competition heats up.
