Former American Idol contestants Andrew Garcia and Katie Stevens have revealed that they are “excited” about going on tour with their fellow finalists.

Both singers were eliminated from the show last week, after judges saved Michael Lynche the week before. They will both go on tour with the rest of the Idol 2010 final ten.

Speaking to ET Online, Stevens said: “I have never been on tour, so I am just excited for the whole experience.

“It’s just going to be a positive environment rather than performing and being nervous about getting judged afterwards. These are all the people who watched us and voted us, so they are only there to support us. I’m excited to meet them all.”

Garcia added: “I’m looking forward to seeing the crowd. They are there to see me, not judge me, and I’m looking forward to all the duets and jam sessions.”

American Idol continues tonight at 8/7c on Fox, with the annual Idol Gives Back special going out tomorrow night at 8pm.
