The hotly anticipated ninth series of America’s Next Top Model, presented by the inimitable Tyra Banks, did not disappoint with its double bill on LIVING last night, Monday 4th February at 9pm and 10pm. The episodes gave LIVING, the exclusive broadcaster of the show in the UK, its highest rating launch episode ever. The first episode in the double bill averaged 535,000 viewers[1], up a massive 132,000 viewers since the previous highest launch episode for Season 8. LIVING fans also stayed around for the second episode, with 418,000 seeing the girls whittled down from 33 to the final 13.

Director of Television, Virgin Media Television, Claudia Rosencrantz said: “America’s Next Top Model is a TV destination as these figures illustrate. With the ninth series bigger than ever, it is a jewel in LIVING’s crown and we hope it will continue to sashay its way through the ratings.”
