Anna Nicole Smith found dead.
Anna Nicole Smith has been found dead at age 39. She was found in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood Florida.
Smith has had a string of misfortunes lately including the death of her son Daniel Smith; court ordered paternity tests for her new-born daughter; as well as the continued battle over the estate of deceased husband J. Howard Marshall.
Recently, she was also sued along with TrimSpa in a class action suit for claims of the weight-loss pill as being false or misleading.
She starred in her own reality TV show, “The Anna Nicole Show” from 2002-2004.
Anna’s nurse found her around 1:38pm local time, and rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood at 2:10pm.
The cause of death is under investigation says Edwina Johnson, the chief investigator of the medical examiner’s office of Broward County, and an autopsy will be done on Friday.

No official word. An autopsy is scheduled for today, but her mother has come out already and blamed drugs. She has said it was probably an overdose. I’ll know more later on.

I really liked Anna and I am sad she is dead.
She had quite a misfortunate troubled life, if it could go wrong for her it did.
She struggled with her weight , when in fact she was perfect the way nature intended. The last of the true blonde bombshells , behind Marilyn Monroe, Diana Dors, Jane Mansfield etc.
I thought she was also very funny, the diet pill lawsuit was a shame . Like so many celebrities she was simply used to front a dishonest industry and was just singled out in the end.
I will miss this lady and I think history will appreciate her more than we ever did.
Her family is very basic and the press will push microphones in their faces so they can say ridiculous statements.

To be honest Dawn, the first ridiculous statement I’ve heard is her baby may be from her son, which may have pushed both of them to overdose.
I’d have to be convinced of that one, just ridiculous.

I think she will still be subject to tabloid muck raking long after she is in her grave.
The fact she is dead and her son is dead people will say whatever they like about the pair to shift papers and magazines. Knowing they cant get sued.
Modern tabloid journalists are a mixture of the Marquee de SADE and Bozo the clown.
I can see her making headlines for many years to come.
I think she had been unwell for a few days(dunno what the cause was).
I get really peed off, when people print stories that are speculation as fact. She was no Angel, but who is ?
People who spread malacious gossip are true sadistic narcissists without any empathy for others, they have God like delusions and an inflated sense of their own power and worth.
If people believed the story of her “incest” with her son to be true , why didnt they print it when she was alive and could defend herself.
The USA has so many social problems that their escapism with celebrity and tabloid muck is so disproportionately high.
If they are not talking about astronauts wearing Nappies, 29 year olds going to school as 12 year olds, they are talking about Anne Nicole Smith being a freudian case study. We are no better over here, very sad and very mucky.
Is real news so painful, we have resorted to fantasy ga-ga land, comic strip news instead.
I’ll miss her just the same, being dead wont stop the tabloids writing about her on both sides of the Atlantic.

Unfortunately, what really is real news? If celebrity news was never mentioned, you’d have people complain about that. If all news was about good news as opposed to bad news, people would be angry for reporters suger-coating the news.
Personally, what I feel news is, is reporting facts. That’s the problem with most news agencies, they are biased one way or another. If it’s not for a political reason, it’s for a commercial one. That is what I find disgusting.
Truly, all news can be reported tastefully, it’s when it’s not tasteful that it just becomes celebrity gossip. Opinions are not factual, but everyone has one, and that’s the rub.
