Attacks On Steve Irwin From PETA Continue To Mount
The attacks on Steve Irwin from PETA continue to mount. Already being called a “cheap reality TV starâ€? they continue the accusations blaiming him for an increase in the trade of exotic animals. He was “not a true wildlife warrior”. Queensland Nationals MP Bruce Scott believes PETA should apologize to Steve’s family. “Isn’t it interesting … how they want to treat animals ethically, but cannot even think for a minute whether or not their outlandish comments are ethical towards their fellow human beings,” Mr Scott said.
In other Irwin news, it seems frauds are beginning to take advantage of his death as well. While waiting in line to receive tickets to the memorial, one women decided to sell stickers and told those buying them the money would go to charity. I suppose it was only a matter of time. Meanwhile, some people receiving tickets to the memorial have tried to sell those tickets on ebay. Remarkably, ebay has decided to close any auctions opened to sell the free tickets.
