Austin Drage Wants Out Of X Factor Contract
Austin Drage has revealed that he will be seeking legal advice on trying to wrangle out of his current X Factor contract.
Like Scott Bruton before him, Austin would like to capitalise on his exposure from the ITV talent show, but his contract prohibits him from releasing any new music until late February 2009.
When Unreality TV asked Austin about his contract, he replied:
“Hopefully I can get out of it sooner, I’ll be phoning my lawyer and see if I can get out of it sooner. We’ll see what happens.”

Austin should still be in the competition, he didnt deserve to go and it just proves how pathetic the judges are. I definatly wont be watching anymore. I hope he can get out of the contract sooner i love his voice
Every single contestant knows the finite details involved when they sign up. Feb 2009 is only a short while away and lets face it, unless you were prior to the show earning from your musical abilities than you’ve lost nothing and gained from the experience of participation.
Mr Drage should thank his lucky stars that the contacts aren’t tougher.

Was gutted he left, he’s so talented and there is so much soul in his voice, he did NOT deserve to go at all.. People assumed he was safe and therefore didn’t vote for him, just goes to prove that if you like someone, no matter how good they are, vote for them!! I’ll be buying his music when it comes out.. Personally, I think Austin should grow up. The chances of him winning were slim and he shouldn’t be allowed to seek legal advice at all, he is acting like a 4 year old because he didnt get his own way. Feb 09 isnt that far away, if was any good 3 months wouldnt matter to him. You heard Beyonce at the final, she not doing anything until May 2009! Maybe Austin should be happy he had his 5 minutes of fame on the X Factor.
