BBC And Andrew Lloyd Webber To Do My Fair Lady

Hot on the heels of Jospeh and The Sound Of Music, BBC sources have revealed that their next big hunt will be to find the leading star for a West End production of My Fair Lady.

An insider told The Sun: “There were several ideas on the table but eventually we whittled them down to West Side Story and My Fair Lady.

“We decided that as we had searched for a male lead last year with Joseph, it was probably right to hunt for a female one next.

“My Fair Lady is a hugely popular musical and Eliza is a challenging role. We’re excited about it.”

Andrew Lloyd Webber will return as judge and mentor and Graham Norton will once again host the show.
