Benidorm: February On ITV1

Set in the Solana all-inclusive Resort, Benidorm follows regulars and first-time holiday makers on their journeys abroad. Despite their disparate backgrounds they all have one thing in common – a quest for getting value for money! Benidorm is a new comedy from Derren Litten featuring a strong ensemble cast of some of the finest comedy talent in the UK.

It’s changeover day at the all-inclusive Solana resort.

Just arrived are: the Garvey family, Mick (Steve Pemberton) Janice (Siobhan Finneran) their children Chantelle who refuses to remove her coat despite the heat (Hannah Hobley), eight year old Michael (Oliver Stokes), and chain-smoking, sun-obsessed, foul-mouthed grandma Madge (Sheila Reid).

Middle class couple Kate (Abigail Cruttenden) who is appalled at what she sees and anxious husband Martin (Nicholas Burns) just want to make the best of things, although it’s hard when they have to wait all day for their room and then discover that they are overlooking the wheelie bins.

Gay couple Troy (Paul Bazely) who is amused by the resort set up and Gavin (Hugh Sachs) who is revolted.

The Oracle, reigning Lancashire pub quiz champion (Johnny Vegas) and his doting Mum, though he prefers to call her his PA (Elsie Kelly)

Donald (Kenny Ireland) and Jacqueline (Janine Duvitski) who have been coming to the same place for years and are happy to give helpful advice to all about which apartments have toilets that don’t flush and to hint at how broad minded they are…

The Oracle is deeply shocked when Donald lets him know just how ‘accommodating’ Jacqueline can be!

Everyone comes together for dinner and an evening of quality entertainment and Karaoke at Neptune’s bar. Telle, who is still wearing her coat, brings the evening to a premature close when she collapses in the middle of a song on the Karaoke stage.

To cool Telle down, the Garvey family help to remove her coat only to reveal that she is heavily pregnant…
