Big Brother 2008: Rex Newmark Brings Rachel Rice To Tears
Last night, Big Brother housemate Rex Newmark brought Rachel to tears after he attacked her for being a fake.
“You’re personality is completely different on the outside then it is here,” he said to Rachel.
“I just think in here you’re being all lovely and Miss La-di-la in order to get a free ticket to the final.”
Rachel hit back:
“You’re entitled to your opinion. So someone’s told you that and you’ve listened,” she said.
“That’s fine.”
Rachel then left the room in floods of tears and was comforted by her pal Kathreya.
Many of the housemates have hit out at Rachel for being fake this year, but is it possible that she is just a nice girl being true to herself? If she was being ‘fake’ as they claim, surely with the amount of personal attacks she has faced the facade would have slipped by now? What do you think?

I think she is being true to herself. trouble is so many of the others are fake and nasty they cannot understand why everyone does not backstab. If it was all a act we would have had stories in the paper by now.

Big Brother turns a lot of people into cynics both inside and outside the house. When fame and fortune depends on how well liked you are it’s easy for people to distrust your motives. Rachel is a lovely person who believes in positivity, open-mindedness and discretion but those are things so foreign to some of the housemates this year that they can’t believe they’re genuine. Rachel is my favourite this year. She’s not the type that wins Big Brother but I’d love it if she did.

I agree with Trudy and Julian. I think Rachel is very sweet and totally genuine. It’s so refreshing to see someone like her when all we’ve had throughout the series is endless bitching and ridiculous conspiracy theories - mostly originating from Luke.

I think that Rachel is faking it for sure and Rex was not
trying to attack her but he wants to make things right she
views him wrong
